Lagos state, Football Academy Abuja fight over Golden Eaglests star, Alampasu

There is an ongoing tussle between Football Academy, Abuja and the Lagos State Government over the ownership of Nigeria Under 17 international Dele Alampasu.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that this may pull the plug on a potential transfer to Europe by the 16 – year – old in future as interested suitors might not know the legitimate club to do business with.

Abuja based grassroots team, FootballAcademy claim Dele Alampasu’s economic rights belong to them having signed a four – year deal with the club before the start of the World Cup and he even traveled several times to Europe with the squad to participate in youth tourneys.

On the other hand, Lagos State Festival Team stress that the Nigeria youth was not properly cleared by Football Academy Abuja when they spotted him.

Since Alampasu returned from United Arab Emirates, where he was chosen as the best goalie of the tournament, he has refused to rejoin FAA as LagosState insists he is their man.

Now Football Academy Abuja have threatened to report Lagos Festival Team to local regulators, the Nigeria Football Federation if Dele Alampasu fails to return to the capital in the coming days.
